Energy Modeller Opportunity

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Energy Modeller to join their team in Bristol. As an Energy Modeller, you will play a key role in optimizing building performance using IES software and collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate energy-efficient design strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed energy modelling to evaluate building performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Undertake TM59 assessments to evaluate the risk of overheating in residential buildings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement energy-efficient design strategies.
  • Provide sustainability advice and solutions for various projects.
  • Generate comprehensive reports and provide recommendations based on modelling outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national regulations, standards, and certifications related to energy efficiency and building performance.
  • Assist clients in understanding regulatory requirements for AD Part L, Part F, and Part O.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in IES software.
  • Strong understanding of building energy efficiency and sustainability principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
