About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Runwood Care Homes. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing person-centred care that promotes the dignity, security, and independence of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants to deliver high-quality care and maintain the highest standards of care.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans that cater to the unique needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication among team members.
  • Administer medication and conduct medication audits to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to the care team and management.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in person-centred care planning and caring for individuals with dementia.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
