Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Kinetic Plc. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our processing plant and equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fault Finding and Diagnostics: Conduct thorough fault finding and diagnostics in emergency breakdown situations to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Planned Preventative Maintenance: Perform planned preventative maintenance to maximise plant reliability and ensure optimal performance.
- Repair and Maintenance: Undertake planned and emergency repairs safely and promptly, recording work using our SAP system.
- Risk Assessment and Method Statements: Develop Risk Assessment and Method Statements for engineering activities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaboration with Contractors: Collaborate with contractors during planned maintenance to ensure seamless execution of tasks.
- Stock Management: Manage stock levels of machinery spares and consumables to ensure efficient operation.
Working Hours:
We offer a 37.5 hour working week, Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm, with flexibility required to meet business needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering: Hold a recognised apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering.
- Electrical Maintenance Experience: Experience in electrical maintenance within a processing or manufacturing environment is desirable, but not essential.
- Health and Safety Systems: Familiarity with H&S systems/SAP or other CMMS systems is a plus, with training provided.
- Flexibility and Communication Skills: Possess a flexible approach to working hours and strong written and verbal communication skills.
