About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Operational Data Coordinator to join our team at Screwfix Direct Limited. As an Operational Data Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our operational data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Input and Maintenance: Accurately input data into our systems and/or check data that others have inputted to ensure data integrity.
  • Data Analysis and Quality Control: Maintain our data systems, including sense-checking data, amending data, seeking out missing information to ensure data is correct and on time.
  • Supplier Management: Analyze data to maintain quality, ensuring that our suppliers conform to the required standards. Support suppliers via the supplier portal.
  • Data Collation and Interpretation: Proactively collate any missing data and interpret data to translate information into formats used by others.
  • System Issue Resolution: Resolve and understand basic system issues, undertaking journey testing as required.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest and deliver improvements to our data processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Data Handling and Liaison: Provide efficient and effective data handling within agreed timescales, checking data for inconsistencies and liaising with internal departments to identify and resolve problems.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Work on ad-hoc projects to change/improve the ways in which we collect and manage data, as directed by the Operational Data Team Leader.
  • Team Support: Support other team members in dealing with escalated issues and problems, recommending process improvements to improve speed and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large amounts of data.
  • Numeracy and Attention to Detail: Highly numerate with the ability to identify errors in data and make necessary recommendations.
  • Deadline-Driven Environment: Demonstrable experience of working within a deadline-driven environment.
  • PIM System Experience: PIM system experience is desirable.
  • Excel Skills: Excellent Excel skills, including data manipulation and an understanding of VLOOKUP & XLOOKUP.
