We are seeking a Proposal Manager who will oversee the coordination of the firm throughout the proposal process, ensuring timely delivery. This role involves advising on proposal strategy, messaging, structure, and overall content direction to craft compelling proposals that meet client needs.
The Proposal Manager will also have responsibilities for line management, providing daily operational guidance to a Proposal Executive. This includes task allocation, performance reviews, mentorship, and coaching, as well as overseeing best practices in proposal development.
Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, with flexibility available upon request.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who ideally possess the following skills and experience:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the strategic direction of the Energy sector
- Take full ownership of managing strategic opportunities during tender and presentation phases
- Conduct opportunity assessments to determine viability and alignment with firm and sector strategy
- Organize kickoff meetings to guide stakeholders in strategy preparation and responsibility allocation
- Provide strategic guidance and coaching to partners
- Compile scoping questions and participate in scoping discussions
- Mentor and coach a Proposal Executive
- Prioritize and allocate tasks effectively
- Conduct performance review meetings and provide constructive feedback
- Manage content by maintaining and enhancing pre-existing materials to improve our automated content library
