About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Medacs Healthcare. As a Consultant Psychiatrist for CAMHS, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to children and adolescents with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat children and adolescents with mental health issues, including those with learning disabilities.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in medical audits and evaluations to ensure high-quality care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other healthcare providers and agencies.
Requirements
  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a license to practice at the time of appointment.
  • Included on the GMC Specialist Register OR within 6 months.
  • Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
  • Approved under S12 OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
  • Holds and will use valid UK driving license OR provides evidence of proposed alternative.
