Job Description

Role Overview:

The Quality Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional quality services to our clients while maintaining compliance with company, industry, and legal requirements. Reporting to the Group Quality Director, this position is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the Quality Management Systems (QMS) across all industry sectors within the scope of Gobel & Partner Limited's business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of QMS procedures and processes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update the QMS audit programs, ensuring timely completion of planned activities, including audits, reviews, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the Group Quality Operations Manager to foster a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging industry best practices to drive quality excellence across all sectors.
  • Evolve the QMS to meet the evolving needs of our clients and other stakeholders, ensuring adaptability and responsiveness to changing requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant professional accreditations, implementing updates and best practices across the organization.
  • Liaise with the Group Quality Operations Manager and external accreditation bodies to ensure seamless execution of planned activities.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis to the Group Quality Director, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Support the effective introduction and maintenance of the QMS across all Gobel & Partner Limited countries, ensuring consistency and alignment with global standards.
  • Develop and conduct training programs to support continuous improvement activities, ensuring employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to drive quality excellence.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address quality-related issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels.
  • Strong working knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including auditing, risk management, and statistical analysis.
  • Experience with ISO 14001 and 9001 standards, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining QMS.
  • Training delivery and facilitation skills, with the ability to develop and conduct training programs.
  • Engineering background or equivalent experience, with a strong understanding of quality principles and practices.
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in quality management software and systems.
  • Experience with risk assessment, COSHH, and health and safety compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ISO/VDA accredited auditor certification.
  • IOSH training and certification.
  • Engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
