Procurement and Supply Chain Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Supply Chain Expert to join our team at Mansell Recruitment Group. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials, assemblies, and support services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage select suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and maintain inventory levels to prevent shortages and maximize turns.
  • Liaise with Engineering, Planning, Sales, and Manufacturing disciplines to ensure a team approach to supply chain management.
  • Analyse exception messages from the ERP system and place purchase orders to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly expedite reports to designated supply chain partners.
  • Manage inventory control and ensure the timely flow of materials.
Requirements:
  • Experience in purchasing electronics or electro-mechanical components/parts.
  • Confident user of MS Office.
  • Ability to work necessary hours to meet project deadlines and travel as required.
