We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our team on a permanent basis. As a Supervising Social Worker, you will be responsible for overseeing a small caseload of foster families located around the Greater Manchester area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and supervision to foster families
- Work closely with therapists, education leads, and other Social Workers
- Develop and implement individualized plans for foster families
- Conduct regular home visits and reviews
- Collaborate with birth parents and other professionals as needed
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with a Social Work Degree
- Experience in working in fostering or in a Looked After Children Team
- Driving license
