About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide support to sourcing and procurement activities, supporting strategic procurement initiatives and negotiating on projects across multiple business units. This will involve taking a lead role in the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from sourcing to contract negotiation and execution, and ongoing Supplier Performance and Relationship Management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing support to sourcing and procurement activities, supporting strategic procurement initiatives and negotiating on projects across multiple business units
• Taking a lead role in the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from sourcing to contract negotiation and execution, and ongoing Supplier Performance and Relationship Management
• Conducting and participating in market reviews with the supply chain to identify innovation and Continuous Improvement (CI)
• Driving the commodity/manufacturing capability strategy throughout the business
• Providing challenge into the conventional way of thinking and procuring, in order to develop innovative contracting solutions
• Managing and influencing internal stakeholders across the business

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record of Manufacturing Procurement/Commercial acumen, supplier management experience, multi-site procurement and stakeholder management experience, and proven skills of working within a complex supply chain environment. They will also have experience of buying heavy plant machinery and equipment specifically within a manufacturing environment, knowledge of negotiating complex international framework agreements, and flexibility to travel internationally.

• CIPs qualified
