Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Dr Mahbub's Surgery, Brace Street Health Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality primary care services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide independent patient assessments and diagnoses, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary, and evaluate patient responses to treatment.
  • Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, including referrals to specialists as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Provide education and training to patients and other healthcare professionals as needed.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Council registration.
  • Masters degree in Advanced Practice or equivalent.
  • Postgraduate diploma or degree in Advanced Practice or equivalent.
  • Qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber on the NMC register.
  • Experience of working in a primary care environment, with a focus on clinical expertise and leadership.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Qualified triage nurse.
  • Minor illness qualification.
  • Teaching qualification.
