Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Conducting specialized physiotherapy assessments for patients with varied presentations and intricate physical and psychological conditions, formulating diagnoses, and creating tailored treatment plans.
  • Establishing patient goals and assessing progress using relevant outcome measures pertinent to the service area.
  • Effectively communicating with patients, many of whom may have sensory, cognitive, and/or mental health challenges, employing a variety of verbal and non-verbal communication techniques to secure informed consent for treatment and rehabilitation initiatives.
  • Managing and prioritizing an assigned clinical caseload based on team-specific criteria.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Engaging with families and both formal and informal caregivers to facilitate safe and effective care delivery.
