About the Role:

A leading law firm in the heart of the City of London is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Real Estate Associate with 2 to 4 years PQE to join its high-value commercial real estate team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented solicitor to contribute to a market-leading practice that handles complex commercial real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse caseload of high-value commercial real estate transactions, including investment acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, and property management.
  • Support a wide range of businesses in achieving their occupational real estate strategies.
  • Provide high-quality legal advice to clients on complex commercial real estate matters, with a focus on London markets.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate leases, contracts, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions.
  • Assist with real estate corporate support as needed, though this is not the primary focus of the role.
Candidate Profile:
  • Qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales with 2 to 4 years PQE in a core commercial real estate practice.
  • Extensive experience in handling high-profile and high-value real estate transactions, particularly within the London market.
  • Strong technical legal expertise and excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of providing real estate corporate support is advantageous but not essential.
  • Commercial awareness and a strong understanding of the real estate sector, particularly in dealing with investors from the Middle East, the Far East, and UK-based private property companies (propcos).
  • Experience in acting for corporate occupiers, especially in the industrial and prime London office sectors, is highly desirable.
