About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join SUEZ as a Transfer Station Operator, where you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative and environmentally responsible solutions for water and waste management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records for the removal of material from the site and of all activities undertaken on the site.
  • Control the exchange of containers, ensuring the site always has space to segregate and store material correctly.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe site.
  • Undertake first aider duties and fire warden duties on site.
  • Perform other duties reasonably requested within the scope of the job role.

Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who will work to ensure site operations exceed the required standards.

  • A flexible approach to work will be advantageous, as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required.
  • The successful applicant will be required to undertake personal development to obtain skills for waste acceptance, operation, and maintenance of site equipment.
  • Basic administration skills for recording data on SUEZ R & R UK's reporting systems will also be advantageous.
