AAT Accounts Professional

Curtis Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Senior to join their team in Oxford. As an Accounts Senior, you will play a key role in preparing working papers, statutory accounts, and management accounts for various clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including working papers, statutory accounts, and management accounts.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with senior colleagues, managers, and partners to deliver high-quality assignments.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Leadership: Supervise, train, and assist junior team members to ensure their growth and development.
Requirements:
- ACCA/ACA qualified or finalist
- Minimum of 3 years UK practice experience
- University degree with a 2:1 or higher, or 3 good A-Level results
- Experience of FRS102 1A is essential
- Experience of SRAs, international accounts, consolidated accounts, and/or charity accounts would be an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and client management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong IT skills, specifically Excel, CCH, Sage, and Xero
- A positive, confident, and proactive attitude
- Ability to prioritize and meet tight timeframes with high-quality output
- Enjoy working as part of a team and be self-motivated
- Ability and desire to develop junior staff
