GKN Aerospace is a leading aerospace supplier of systems and components, and we're seeking an experienced MRP Controller to join our Supply Chain team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the weekly Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process to balance demand and supply within available capacity.
- Create and maintain production schedules to deliver in line with Programme requirements while maintaining Inventory targets and optimizing site capacity.
- Support Operations in the analysis of Master Schedule Adherence.
- Ensure system Master Data is up to date for all planning and scheduling purposes.
- Coordinate between Operations & Maintenance to minimize impact of planned downtime.
- Provide input for Material Requirement Planning / Vendor Scheduling process.
- Support operations in monitoring manufacturing output/performance against the schedule/plan, challenging and understanding whenever performance differs from standard.
- Provide communication/feedback to Programmes in case of any potential supply issues and also in order to improve Forecast accuracy.
- Experience of Operations Supply Planning / MPS / MRP.
- Knowledge of Forecasting & Demand Planning, Daily Scheduling & Execution, Master Data Management, Inventory Management, Internal Flow & Warehousing.
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders of various levels.
- Competent with MS Packages.
