Position Overview

We are currently seeking an Office Coordinator to join our Proposals team, with the flexibility to work from home. In this role, you will support our business development initiatives by collaborating with various departments to gather information for pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQ) and responses to invitations to tender (ITT).

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with technical writers to compile information for PQQs, ITTs, and business proposals.
  • Research and draft content for PQQs and ITTs, including case studies, CVs, and supporting evidence.
  • Assist in the development and upkeep of a library of frequently used responses and materials for bids.
  • Manage inquiries related to Achilles and NERS.
  • Support the management of Murphy Utility Connections inquiries.
  • Assist the Business Development Manager and Estimators within the Murphy Utility Connections Winning Team.
  • Communicate with clients to provide regular updates.
  • Oversee the Tender List and project folders.
  • Issue and manage requests for quotations from civil and specialist contractors.
  • Participate in client meetings, both virtually and in person as required.
  • Travel to Murphy offices as necessary.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative experience, preferably with some familiarity in the utility, energy, or construction sectors. You should have excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, along with the ability to articulate complex technical issues in clear, straightforward language. Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access, as well as electronic document management systems, is essential.
