About The Role

Gleeds is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Liverpool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing costs and budgets of construction projects, including new builds, renovations, and maintenance works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives and driving growth across our activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing high-quality services and ensuring cost management deliverables meet their requirements.
  • Manage projects to deliver high-quality services and deliverables in accordance with our business procedures.
  • Prepare and present order of cost estimates and option studies, utilizing your expertise in cost planning and cost-in-use studies.
  • Advise on and implement procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.
  • Evaluate and report on tenders, ensuring that our clients receive the best value for their investment.
  • Value completed work and arrange for payments, ensuring that our clients are satisfied with the services provided.
  • Settle final accounts, providing a seamless experience for our clients.
  • Provide technical advice on legal and contractual issues relating to construction projects, ensuring that our clients are protected.
  • Administer contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent, ensuring that our clients' interests are represented.
  • Produce and present reports to customers, providing them with valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Mentor and coach employees to their full potential, ensuring that our team is equipped to deliver exceptional results.
