About the Role

Mackenzie Jones is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in the development of new products for retailers, working closely with the Buying team to manage critical paths, samples, and product launches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in pitching to retailers for own brand projects, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for the management of own brand projects on selected retailer accounts, working closely with the Buyer and cross-functional teams
  • Brief suppliers on new projects, ensuring timely and effective communication
  • Ensure familiarity with customer's current ranges and identify potential gaps in range to inform product development proposals
  • Collaborate with the Buying team to develop and implement product development strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Requirements
  • At least 3 years' experience in an administrative/support role, preferably in a Buying office environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
  • 25 days' holiday per annum, plus bank holidays
  • A hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days per week spent in the office in Birmingham
