Manual QA Tester Job Description

As a Manual QA Tester at Vertex IT Solutions Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our web-based systems. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with project teams to develop and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios to meet company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed test scripts from functional specifications, user stories, or software solutions.
  • Collaborate with developers and project managers to recreate issues and ensure timely retesting of fixes.
  • Analyze issues to understand the root cause and report detailed findings to developers and project managers.
  • Provide estimates and feedback to project managers for scheduling purposes.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Ranorex or Selenium.
  • Understanding of project lifecycle methodologies like Incremental and Agile (SCRUM).
  • Knowledge of.NET and Sitecore.
  • Web accessibility knowledge (WC3).
  • Experience with Team Foundation Server (Azure/VSDS).
