Teledyne UK Limited is seeking a highly skilled Product Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Product Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, particularly in the space, aerospace, and defence industries.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support to the Business Unit in supplying high-quality custom image sensors, Front End electronics, and Optical Systems to external customers.
- Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded through effective project planning and control.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate design and manufacturing risks to ensure quality.
- Manage non-conformance and implement corrective action at project and management systems level.
- Flow down quality requirements to the customer and supply chain.
- Facilitate customer-mandated reviews and support a programme of risk-based internal and external audits.
- Experience in a Product/Quality Assurance role, preferably in the space, aerospace, or defence industries.
- Background in design and production for electro-mechanical parts and systems.
- Knowledge of high-reliability parts and materials.
- Attention to detail and ability to think outside the box.
- Flexible and adaptable approach with a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to lead problem-solving teams and comprehensive knowledge of MS Office.
Degree preferred, but a minimum of HNC/HND in Electronic/Mechanical Engineering is required.
