Job Opportunity: Finishing Operative - Abrasive Clean and Masking

We are seeking a skilled Finishing Operative to join our team at CPI Selection, a leading global market leader in the Aerospace/military sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a family-run company based in West London.

Job Summary:

This role involves working as a Finishing Operative - Abrasive Clean and Masking, responsible for cleaning metallic and non-metallic materials using abrasive cleaning techniques. You will also be required to operate shot blasting machinery, degreasing equipment, and quality control your work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning metallic and non-metallic materials using abrasive cleaning techniques
  • Operating shot blasting machinery to remove corrosion products and prepare surfaces for joining and coatings
  • Cleaning components using degreasing machinery
  • Operating barrel tumbling and vibratory finishing equipment
  • Quality controlling your own work
  • Understanding and interpreting technical drawings
  • Complying with H&S policies and procedures, including COSHH regulations

Requirements:
