Position Overview

We are excited to present an opportunity within a dynamic and expanding engineering team at a prominent manufacturing facility. We are seeking a Multi-Disciplinary Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Focus to ensure the efficient operation of engineering and manufacturing processes.
This role involves managing both scheduled maintenance and reactive troubleshooting, with a focus on enhancing reliability and efficiency through ongoing improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance and repair within a production setting.
  • Strong electrical background with exceptional diagnostic abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery to reduce downtime and optimize performance.
  • Quickly respond to equipment failures and resolve technical challenges to limit production delays.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify and rectify underlying issues, implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Work with the team to enhance equipment settings and processes for improved efficiency and quality.
  • Engage in continuous improvement projects, proposing and executing enhancements to machinery and systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive maintenance records utilizing the CMMS, including work orders and inventory management.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and ensure adherence to relevant standards.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Apprentice-trained Maintenance Engineer.
  • HNC/ONC or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proficient in PLC troubleshooting (Siemens).
  • Proactive time management skills.
  • Commitment to high-quality work standards.
  • Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical schematics.
  • Familiarity with lathes and milling machinery is advantageous.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
Compensation and Benefits
