Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join our team at Imperium Recruitment Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and resolve technical issues to minimize production interruptions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address underlying problems, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize equipment settings and processes for maximum efficiency and quality.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing enhancements to machinery and systems.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records through full use of the CMMS System, including work orders, equipment manuals, and spare parts inventory.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Apprentice Trained Maintenance Engineer
  • HNC /ONC or equivalent Electrical / Mechanical engineering certification
  • Solid understanding and experience of PLC faulting (Siemens)
  • Work proactively managing time effectively
  • Carry out work to high standards
  • Pneumatic and Hydraulic experience
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Experience with Lathes, milling machinery would be an advantage
  • Basic computer skills
