Role Summary:
This position is an integral part of our global Security Operations Center (SOC) team, providing managed security services (MSS) to our worldwide clientele. It presents an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to embark on a career in cybersecurity, offering insights into how SOCs play a crucial role in helping organizations defend against cyber threats. Logicalis provides exposure to a variety of security technologies, assisting organizations in threat identification while collaborating with our global team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security incidents, providing timely reports.
- Assist in the monitoring and basic analysis of security events.
- Track security cases, address client inquiries, and adjust misclassifications of security incidents.
- Manage daily operational tasks within the monitoring center, including report preparation.
- Serve as the primary communication point during incident investigations, responding to clients within established service level agreements (SLAs) and handling client calls.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn, take responsibility, and be proactive.
- No prior experience is required; we offer on-the-job training, providing ample opportunities to gain valuable cybersecurity skills and knowledge. We welcome enthusiastic individuals eager to learn about the field of cybersecurity.
Required Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP) is essential.
- Familiarity with basic Linux system operations is preferred.
- Recent graduates without relevant experience are encouraged to apply; training will be provided.
- Ideal for entry-level candidates interested in the cybersecurity domain.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (such as Azure) is a plus.
- Experience working with Linux shell and Windows command line is advantageous.
- Understanding of service management processes and programs, with a strong service-oriented mindset and a willingness to tackle challenges.
