Newcastle upon Tyne, Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom Stantec UK Full time

The Opportunity

At Stantec, we enhance community resilience through effective asset management strategies.

Our Asset Management Team boasts a proven history of successful project execution across sectors that are heavily reliant on assets.

We collaborate with our clients to drive performance and unlock financial, social, environmental, and intellectual value from their assets.

Our approach involves working closely with clients to deliver strategic, resilient, and innovative solutions tailored to their performance challenges.

Our ongoing success in supporting leading Energy and utility providers, as well as major infrastructure developers in the UK, has led to significant growth within our organization.

Consequently, we are seeking to recruit Asset Condition Assessment Specialists into our Advisory Services team to contribute to various projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments and inspections of assets, which will aid in the development of asset registers and facilitate future initiatives such as condition-based monitoring, relevant maintenance activities (preventative, predictive, and planned), asset criticality assessments, capital investment strategies, and environmental impact evaluations.

You will also have the opportunity to engage in other Stantec-wide design and delivery projects across multiple disciplines and assist with various asset management consultancy tasks as needed.

About You

You should possess experience in operating and maintaining assets, along with a solid understanding of engineering plants and equipment, as well as the relevant building services standards and structures.

Familiarity with mobile surveying software and reporting tools is advantageous.

You will have experience in managing client relationships at an operational level, with a comprehensive understanding of current legislation, technical standards, and codes of practice.

An awareness of CMMS and CAFM systems is desirable, coupled with a significant understanding of health and safety protocols in an operational context, including adherence to risk assessments.

Progress towards a NEBOSH/IOSH qualification is also preferred.

As this role is site-based, regular travel to various project sites is required.
