Newcastle upon Tyne, Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom Stantec UK Full time

The Role

At Stantec, we enhance community resilience through effective asset oversight.

Our Asset Management division boasts a proven history of delivering results across sectors that heavily rely on assets.

We collaborate with our clients to optimize performance and unlock financial, social, environmental, and intellectual value from their resources.

By fostering a cooperative environment, we offer strategic, resilient, and innovative solutions to address performance challenges.

Our ongoing success in assisting major energy and utility providers, as well as significant infrastructure developers in the UK, has led to substantial growth within our organization.

Consequently, we are seeking to recruit Asset Condition Assessment Specialists for our Advisory Services team to contribute to critical projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments and inspections of assets, which will aid in the creation of asset registers and facilitate the development of condition-based monitoring, maintenance strategies (preventative, predictive, and planned), asset prioritization, capital investment, and environmental impact evaluations.

You will also engage in various Stantec-wide design and delivery initiatives across multiple disciplines and assist with additional asset management consultancy tasks as needed.

About You

Your background includes experience in asset operation and maintenance, with a solid understanding of engineering systems and equipment, as well as familiarity with relevant building service standards and structures.

Experience with mobile surveying applications and reporting tools is advantageous.

You will have a track record of fostering client relationships at an operational level, along with a comprehensive understanding of current regulations, technical standards, and industry practices.

Familiarity with CMMS and CAFM systems is preferred, as is a strong awareness of health and safety protocols in operational settings, including compliance with risk assessments.

Pursuing a NEBOSH/IOSH qualification is also a plus.

As this position is site-based, regular travel to project locations is required.
