Job Title: SEN Early Years Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Quedgeley area

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a wonderful nursery as a SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a young pupil in need of support and guidance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with 1:1 roles, be able to quickly adapt, and possess strong behavioural management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to a young pupil with SEN needs
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the pupil's needs
  • Work closely with the teaching team to ensure seamless integration of support
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and development
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for the pupil

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working with SEN pupils
  • Strong behavioural management skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and pupil needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
