Staff Counsellor Opportunity at WhereToTalk

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Counsellor to join our team at WhereToTalk. As a Staff Counsellor, you will provide confidential and professional support to our employees, helping them to manage their mental health and wellbeing.

About the Role:

  • Provide one-to-one counselling sessions to employees, addressing a range of mental health issues, including stress, anxiety, and depression.
  • Work collaboratively with employees, managers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to promote mental health and wellbeing.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans to ensure the well-being of employees.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Hold BACP Accreditation, UKCP Registration, or equivalent registration with HPC/BABCP/BPS/BPC as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist/Counselling Psychologist.
  • Be able to work on campus on Thursday and one other day.
  • Be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
