The Tendering Specialist will play a pivotal role in our business development and sales process at Simpson Booth Limited. You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive proposals and bids for potential projects, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Analysis: Conduct a thorough analysis of project specifications, blueprints, and client requirements for fabrication and pipeline projects in coordination with technical team.

  • Maintain a well-organised repository of project documents, specifications, and drawings to facilitate proposal development.
  • Communicate with clients to clarify project requirements, address technical inquiries, and participate in meetings as necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, operations and project management, to gather information and insights for proposal development.

Requirements:

Job Specific Education Required:

  • Qualification in Welding or construction, or relevant experience in proposals in a similar role.

Work Experience Required:

  • Solid experience preparing sales quotations and proposals for construction and pipeline projects.

Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • Excellent knowledge of English (every other language is a plus).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office, such as Word and Excel, is a must.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Passion for commercial activities, Customer orientated.
