Randstad Care is seeking dedicated youth care facilitators to undertake shifts within an award-winning service recognized for excellence by regulatory bodies.

This service caters to children facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, guiding them through their transitions from secure facilities to residential care and eventually back to their families or into independent living.

This role is both demanding and fulfilling, offering you the chance to observe the growth and progress of young individuals over an extended period.

Compensation: Competitive pay rates of up to £15 per hour, contingent on experience.

Key Responsibilities of a Youth Care Facilitator:

  • Collaborating effectively within a team environment
  • Addressing the social, emotional, and educational requirements of children
  • Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviors
  • Coordinating with educators, social workers, and the broader care team
  • Upholding a professional demeanor while adhering to National Care Standards
  • Adapting to a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

To excel in this role, candidates should:

  • Have prior experience in a care environment with young individuals
  • Experience in a secure care setting is advantageous, though not mandatory
  • Demonstrate flexibility in job responsibilities
  • Possess strong communication abilities
  • Be registered under the PVG scheme
  • Hold a valid driving license
  • Have achieved SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification
