Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at The London Clinic. As a key member of our Pharmacy department, you will be responsible for leading and managing clinical pharmacy services, providing expert guidance on medication management, and supporting the development of strategic plans for pharmacy clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage clinical pharmacy services, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to best practices.
  • Provide expert guidance on medication management, including developing and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Support the development of strategic plans for pharmacy clinical services, aligning with the Clinic's goals and objectives.
  • Deputise for the Deputy Chief Pharmacist - Clinical/Operations as needed, ensuring seamless continuity of services.
  • Act as a specialist role model and expert in medicines management, providing training and support to colleagues.
Requirements
  • Evidence of breadth of clinical experience in various specialties, with a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience in a hospital pharmacy at a senior level.
  • Completed comprehensive rotations in hospital Pharmacy covering surgical and medical wards.
  • Experience of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Developing and writing policies, procedures, and guidelines, with a focus on quality and patient safety.
