Nursery Third in Charge/Room Leader Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Third in Charge/Room Leader to join our team at Trust In Soft. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and education to our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage a Team: Supervise and support a team of childcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care and education.
  • Child Development and Learning: Plan and implement engaging and stimulating activities to promote the physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development of children.
  • Staff Support and Development: Assist in the training and development of staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care and education.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Safety and Wellbeing: Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children, staff, and visitors at all times.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification.
  • Experience: Over 1 year's experience working in Early Years.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations and regulatory requirements.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in written and spoken English.
