About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Air Freight Import Specialist to join our team at Freight Personnel. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of air freight imports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to provide exceptional service and support
  • Coordinate the movement of air freight imports, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation
  • Arrange haulage with shipping lines and ensure all necessary documentation is in place
  • Manage the invoicing and checking of air freight imports prior to dispatch
  • Ensure all relevant documents are readily available as required
  • Respond to customer requests and queries in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Communicate effectively with overseas agents, customers, and suppliers
  • Utilize customer ERP and SAP systems as needed
Requirements
  • Experience in air imports freight forwarding
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong numerical and commercial skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, with experience in Cargowise a plus
  • Proactive and team-oriented with excellent time management skills
