The Motor Insurance Underwriter will focus on delivering exceptional service to customers and brokers alike. Understanding the needs of clients and how they align with Aviva's objectives is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be tasked with assessing and underwriting profitable insurance policies while adhering to established guidelines and authority levels. Building and nurturing relationships with clients and brokers will be a crucial part of your role, providing them with technical support and addressing any inquiries.
Utilizing a network of relevant stakeholders, you will ensure the delivery of comprehensive solutions tailored to the customer’s needs, working independently within your underwriting authority and consulting on more complex risks when necessary.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with insurance product features and processes (Preferred)
- Understanding of motor underwriting principles (Preferred, but not mandatory)
- Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication, listening, time management, and negotiation skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively within a large organization
- Solid knowledge of FCA regulations and relevant legislation
