Procurement Coordinator
A prominent organization specializing in advanced safety and security solutions for industrial settings is in search of a committed Procurement Coordinator. The Procurement Coordinator will oversee daily purchasing operations, ensuring the prompt delivery of materials and the maintenance of optimal inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing Management:
    Handle daily procurement tasks, including the issuance of purchase orders and monitoring their status.
  • Supplier Sourcing:
    Identify and acquire materials, products, and services in a cost-effective and timely manner.
  • Supplier Evaluation:
    Regularly assess supplier performance and address any issues that may arise.
  • Delivery Oversight:
    Track and expedite delivery timelines to ensure the timely arrival of materials and services.
  • Issue Resolution:
    Quickly resolve any delivery discrepancies or delays to minimize operational disruptions.

Inventory Oversight:

  • Stock Replenishment:
    Restock items as necessary to maintain ideal inventory levels.
  • Inventory Audits:
    Conduct periodic inventory assessments to identify and rectify potential shortages or surpluses.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with warehouse and production teams to anticipate demand and plan inventory accordingly.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Record Keeping:
    Maintain precise records of all procurement activities, supplier interactions, and inventory levels.
  • Performance Reporting:
    Prepare and present regular updates on procurement performance, cost efficiencies, and inventory status.
  • Process Optimization:
    Utilize procurement software and systems to enhance and automate processes wherever feasible.

Ideal candidates will possess proven experience in a procurement or purchasing capacity, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial context.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with procurement software.
  • A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Professional certification in procurement is advantageous.
