About Our Organization

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust was formed in April, merging the expertise of both the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust and Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust.

Spanning Northern, Eastern, and Mid Devon, we employ over a significant number of staff, making us the largest employer in the region. Our core services cater to a vast population, covering extensive geographical areas, while some specialized services extend throughout the peninsula, reaching as far as Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

We provide a comprehensive range of emergency, specialized, and general medical services through our hospitals. In addition to our acute facilities, we offer integrated health and social care services across various settings, including community inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, and home care services. Our offerings also include primary care services, a variety of specialized community services, and Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARC).

Our commitment to utilizing advanced technology and fostering strong partnerships with local educational institutions positions us at the forefront of research and innovation, enabling us to deliver exceptional care to our communities.
