Aerospace Safety Manager

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Nouvo Recruitment (London). As a key member of our property management company, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain contractual relationships with specialist H&S and Fire Safety consultants.
- Assist functional managers in developing H&S strategies and reviewing progress of compliance activities.
- Support managers in obtaining risk mitigation and implementing interim measures to mitigate risk.
- Maintain and review records of all incidents and accidents.
- Ensure all H&S activities are compliant with current legislation and best practice.
- Review and ensure all blocks have up-to-date H&S and FRA, including appropriate signage.
- Manage electronic data and ensure timely responses to emails and calls.
- Liaise directly with the Head of Technical Services to progress tasks and meet deadlines.
- Maintain and create information packs for the Operational Team.
- Verify that all blocks have up-to-date H&S and FRA, including appropriate signage.
- Ensure H&S policies and processes are in line with current legislation and best practice.
- Ensure all blocks built prior to 2000 have asbestos reports, and those post 2000 have confirmation from the developer that no asbestos was used in construction.
- Participate in training sessions and team events.
- Attend external training events for professional development.
- Prepare and deliver relevant sessions to the team after training events.
- Alert the Head of Technical Services of any non-compliance matters that may arise.
- Manage, support, and assist the Facilities Assistant.
- Quantify risk limits and communicate the risk profile to key stakeholders.
- Excellent knowledge of property management principles and procedures.
- Good understanding of Health and Safety aspects.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good knowledge of QUBE computer system.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of property compliance legislation and best practice.
- Excellent understanding of RAMS.
- Able to lead, develop, and influence other teams across the business to deliver an excellent client and customer experience.
- NEBOSH qualified.
- IOSH qualified.
- Legionella qualified.
