About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (Adult) to join our team at Gatwick Immigration Removal Centre. As a Primary Care Nurse, you will be an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team, delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our nursing strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver nurse-led services and prevent hospital admissions
  • Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, and attend emergency response situations
  • Assess patients and undertake reception screening
  • Develop and lead clinics, and use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse-led clinics to your patient group
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A strong clinical background and experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
