Job Title: Learning Support Assistant - KS1
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at an outstanding primary school in Croydon. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a Year 2 pupil with moderate Autism, following the pupil's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
- Lead interventions and develop strategies to support the pupil's learning and well-being
- Work collaboratively with the teaching staff and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with Autism or other SEN
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
