Job Overview

Are you seeking a rewarding opportunity in the construction materials sector? If you have a passion for operating mobile plant machinery, we have an exciting position available for you. This role is set in a stunning natural environment, offering unique challenges alongside breathtaking views.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary role will involve the operation of a fixed production facility and various mobile plant equipment to ensure the safe execution of our operations, including the processing and packaging of slate granules. We value a positive attitude and a willingness to engage in hands-on work.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • A valid UK Driving Licence is required, as reliable transportation to the workplace is essential.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for the construction materials industry.
  • Previous experience operating Forklift trucks and other mobile plant equipment (such as Loading shovels, articulated Dump Trucks, and Excavators) in a quarry setting is advantageous, though training will be provided for the right candidate.
Working Pattern

This position currently operates on a day shift basis, with potential future requirements for shift work.
