Senior Nurse for Physical Health

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse to join our team at HMP Ranby as a Senior Nurse for Physical Health. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, leading the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs and appropriate care and treatment.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the healthcare team in providing high-quality care to prisoners, ensuring the implementation of National Service Frameworks and maintaining high standards of care.
- Provide leadership, support, and supervision to the team, ensuring adherence to all relevant policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with Clinical Matrons, GPs, and other healthcare professionals to deliver innovative and effective healthcare services.
- Maintain professional standards, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and promoting a culture of excellence within the team.

Requirements- First-level registered nurse, RGN qualification and registration with the NMC.
- Evidence of continuing professional development in relevant areas, such as Tissue Viability, Continence Promotion, and HLS training.
- Experience of working in a range of healthcare environments, including prisons.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
