Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer, you will play a vital role in the maintenance, servicing, repair, and enhancement of all electrical systems essential for manufacturing operations. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the safety of personnel and contractors while maintaining seamless operational continuity.

Specific duties include:
1. Overseeing the electrical operations of all site systems and services.
2. Selecting and managing contractors.
3. Creating engineering documentation, including work permits, risk assessments, purchase orders, training materials, and engineering manuals.
4. Conducting Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) training.
5. Procuring electrical equipment, including high voltage (HV), low voltage (LV), variable speed drives (VSD), and programmable logic controllers (PLC).
6. Performing root cause analysis, breakdown investigations, and implementing improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Completion of an Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification.
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems and power supply, from transformers to substations and down to component level in a manufacturing context.
- Proven experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and instructions.
- Highly organized, structured, and adaptable to address urgent issues.
- Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
- High Voltage (HV) qualification is advantageous; training can be provided.
