Job Summary:
The EHS Manager will provide support for the Telent Technology Services business, operating within the UK-wide rail environment. This is an agile working role, with a requirement to travel around the Midlands and South region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement EHS Programs: Develop, implement, and oversee the business unit's environmental health and safety programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Establish Inspection Programs: Establish suitable inspection programs to ensure compliance with procedures, client requirements, and EHS laws, standards, and regulations.
- Liaison with Suppliers: Liaise with suppliers to ensure the effective assurance of supply chain and the definition of standards required for approval and retention of key suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Business Unit Competency and Performance: Ongoing development of Business Unit competency and performance in EHS and Security related matters.
About the Role:
This is a critical role in the delivery of our contracts, whether that is delivering or supervising maintenance, installation, cabling, or civils works. The EHS Manager will help build and keep the nation's critical infrastructure connected and protected 24/7.
