Commissioning Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Contract Scotland. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of water and wastewater treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the commissioning of water and wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring all systems and components are installed, tested, operated, and maintained according to operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Conduct site inspections and performance tests to verify system functionality.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support project handover.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in commissioning within the water industry, preferably within the Scottish Water Framework.
  • Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A proactive approach to health and safety, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
