Job Summary:
Adecco is seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our team. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing and collecting debts from company debtors, evaluating new credit requests, and ensuring timely collection of debts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Debt Management: Proactively manage and collect debts from a portfolio of customers within the region, ensuring timely payment and minimizing bad debt.
- Credit Evaluation: Evaluate new credit requests and review the credit limits of customers to ensure accurate and informed decision-making.
- Collection and Recovery: Ensure timely collection of debts and initiate legal procedures if necessary, while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Reconciliation and Reporting: Process reconciliations and clean up customer accounts, book incoming customer payments, and prepare customer statements and client status reports.
- Analysis and Ad-hoc Work: Conduct regular debtor review meetings with key stakeholders, maintain a good working knowledge of AX Dynamics and/or SAP, and perform ad-hoc analysis work for the wider finance team.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience working in a similar credit control team/AR environment.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a good working knowledge of AX Dynamics and/or SAP.
