Job Title: Principal Moderator - Health and Social Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Moderator to join our team at Pearson. As a Principal Moderator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our assessment delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the timely delivery of contracted units/modules/components
  • Moderate live candidate responses to quality assure as part of a supervisory role
  • Monitor the progress of supervisors/Moderators
  • Act as a senior point of escalation across the quality assurance process
  • Monitor and report to the Assessment team after standardisation and completion of moderating
  • Submit reports on series/candidate performance
Requirements:
  • Experience and knowledge of quality assurance and assessment practice
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and requirements
  • Report writing within a regulated industry
  • A minimum of one full academic year of teaching experience in the relevant subject area/sector within the last 8 years
