Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Mission Systems team. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in the delivery of our MILSATCOM (military satellite communication) systems.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from supporting vital MILSATCOM systems to developing new technologies. You will be responsible for coordinating an integrated project delivery team, ensuring successful delivery of projects through planning, monitoring, and control in an INCOSE Systems Engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage stakeholders, including Engineering, Operations, supply chain, client engagement, and partners.
  • Identify, monitor, plan, implement responses, and report on risks.
  • Lead the project to deliver world-class performance through employee engagement, continuous improvement, and identifying and implementing the latest technology.
  • Establish and maintain governance arrangements for the delivery of the project, defining clear roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities.
  • Accountable for planning and monitoring the project, submission of regular monthly performance reports indicating any deviations, corrective action taken, and escalation of issues.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience on complex defence and telecommunication projects/programmes, preferably MILSATCOM. You should have the ability to champion high performance and inspire others.

Contract change process and developing proposal responses to change requests are essential skills for this role.
