About the Role

We are seeking an experienced senior nurse to lead our practice development team, providing strategic direction and support to frontline clinical staff. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of fundamentals of care, patient safety, and patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of training programs to meet identified development needs in nursing
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure Trust objectives are achieved
  • Provide formal teaching sessions to facilitate learning and continued nurse development
  • Support ward managers and matrons in delivering the quality and safety agenda
  • Act as a role model, working in accordance with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) code and Trust policies

Requirements
  • NMC registered professional
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
  • Practice assessor/educator experience (or equivalent)

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £46,148 to £52,809 per annum, plus a 5% high cost area supplement. The post is permanent, with flexible working options available.
