Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Psychology Graduate to join our team as a Pastoral Support Assistant. This role will involve working closely with students from all years, providing support and guidance to those who require it.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pastoral support to students with complex needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and Downs Syndrome.
  • Work closely with an Educational Psychologist and Speech and Language Therapist to develop and implement support plans.
  • Support students with their academic and personal development, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support system.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Psychology Graduate with a strong understanding of child development and psychology principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Strong administrative skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
